Sponsor a Child/Young Adult
How does it work?
This scholarship program is implemented through a system of godchildren and godparents (sponsors). Once you commit to sponsoring a child, $25 or young adult, $35 a month, a letter with all the pertinent information of your godchild will be sent to you. Every other month you will receive a letter from your godchild acknowledging the receipt of your financial help and telling you about his/her school and extracurricular activities. These letters will be in Spanish with a Google translation into English via email.
– Minimum commitment of 1 school year (9 months) is preferred.
How does my contribution help?
Your monthly stipend will provide:
- School supplies
- Footwear
- Transportation fees
- Miscellaneous
How much of your contribution goes to your godchild?
- FONBEC USA’s operating costs are PAID IN FULL by the Robison Family Scholarship Fund so 100% of U.S. contributions go directly to Bolivia.
- FONBEC Bolivia uses 15 or 20% of your donation towards local operating expenses. They ensure the rest goes directly to your godchild.
